So I started this game about a year and a half ago. I worked on it diligently for about six months and then released a beta version. I waited for inspiration on how to continue further and make the game ‘better’ but I finally decided to just polish up a bit what was already there, and release it as a free game, without ads. And boy, it feels good to have some closure on it.
Funniest aspect of the development process here is that when the game was first designed, all the GUI was created through OnGUI scripting, and it’s no small GUI either. Nowadays, I design my GUI with the editor and canvas design mode, so it’s really frustrating for me to play this game. I see so many small changes which I’d love to make, but without totally redesigning the game in the new style, I guess we all just have to deal with the current state.
To conclude this post I will say that I feel happy with concluding my efforts on this project, and yet I don’t feel the game has reached its full potential… So, I would be willing to allow the right person who is interested in continuing this project towards completion to become a collaboration partner, but do realize that this would be a project which could take months to a year to truly finalize into a glorious finished product. If you are interested, just send me a direct message with some work of yours and an explanation of why you think you’d be a good help to the project.
