Hi
Maybe a bit off topic, but I really hope you can help me:
I’m trying to install Monodevelop and get to the end but get this weird error:
As seen on the picture MonoDevelop cannot find a simple commands like Console.WriteLine();

I have followed the install instruction as bescriped at this link: https://www.monodevelop.com/developers/building-monodevelop/ (Windows)

Please help!!!

MonoDevelop isn’t supported by Unity anymore. It’s deprecated. You should use Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.

Ahh – did not know that – thanks 🙂

But the reason why I’m trying to install Monodevelop is because Brackeys has a series of C# beginner tutorials using Monodevelop (he seems very ford of it).

But I can just take the C# tutorial series in VS instead?

Yes you can. The tutorials are a bit older (but still relevant and mostly up to date, except MonoDevelop)
